This is a refurbished unit of the BES860XL Barista Express. With its integrated conical burr grinder and dosing control, The Barista Express delivers the optimum path from espresso bean to thick crema in less than two minutes. Non-pressurized cafe style single-wall filters allow for experimentation of grind size, grind amoung and tamping pressure to explore the art of espresso. Pressurized dual-walled filters help beginners by delivering smooth crema every time. The integrated tamper with magnetized lock in storage allows you to tamp to your preference while attached to the machine or the counter

I just bought the Refurbished Breville Express machine. I've bought several refurbished in my life, but this time I got some problems... There are some scratches in the machine. The instruction manual came damaged and the quick start reference guides are missing. This is a bit frustrating.Other than that, the machine is great. It is a beautiful piece of appliance. Works perfectly. It's is a bit tricky to get the right setup to get a good and strong expresso, but this is part of the fun.

First what kind of coffee drinkers are we? We like our coffee fresh and strong with a dollop of milk-foam. The Breville delivers reliably.The Breville is super well designed; looks great on the counter top, intuitive and simple to master hands-on coffee-making and it gives me delight that they've figured out where/how to store spare parts and easily clean and maintain the machine.I had the Rancillo Silvia previously which was finicky and required incredible patience and multiple trials before finally bleeding a cup of joe. My family regarded the Silvia as a pain in the neck visitor that only I could tolerate. In contrast, the Breville is straightforward and friendly. Everyone enjoys the Breville with its easy to master dual filter, which produces a solidly good and strong coffee with plenty of crema. Fiddlers can play with the single wall filter for variety.

Arrived quickly and made a delicious espresso but had grinder problems out of the box. Finally gave up and sent it back. There were a few scratches and instruction manual damaged but came with all accessories. Return went very smoothly.
